Vura: AI Fitness Coach — Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Your full legal name], the individual developer who publishes Vura: AI Fitness Coach (“Vura”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Vura you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Vura.
1. Who can use Vura
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to these terms, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for you. Users under 18 should use calorie targets and weight goals together with a parent, guardian or health professional.
2. Not medical advice
Vura gives general fitness and nutrition information. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Its calorie targets, maintenance estimates, scores, warm-ups, workout plans and Lumi’s messages are estimates based on general formulas and what you enter, and may not suit you.
Talk to a doctor or qualified professional before starting a diet or exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have a medical condition, take medication, or have or had an eating disorder. Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Never ignore or delay medical advice because of something in Vura.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. You choose your exercises and weights and are responsible for using safe technique and equipment.
If you are struggling with food, weight or body image, please reach out to a health professional or a local support line.
3. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence (food recognition, nutrition labels, exercise search and creation, and Lumi’s insights). AI can make mistakes — for example misjudging a portion or the calories in a photo. Check results before you rely on them; you can edit any entry.
4. Your account
Give accurate information, keep your password secret and tell us at lumi@vura.fit if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Account & Settings.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Vura. In particular, do not: break the law; upload content that is illegal, sexual, hateful or that you have no right to share; try to access other people’s accounts or data; attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service except where the law allows; or use automated tools to scrape or abuse it, including its AI features.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you log and upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide Vura to you (including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
7. Paid plans
Vura is free to use. If optional paid plans (subscriptions) are offered, the price, billing period and what is included will be shown before you buy. Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Free trials turn into paid subscriptions unless cancelled before they end. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies, except where the law gives you other rights.
8. Our app and content
Vura, its design, software, Lumi character and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Exercise demonstrations, food data and other third-party content belong to their owners.
9. Third-party services
Vura links to or works with services we do not control, such as Health Connect, Apple Health, Google and Apple sign-in, YouTube and the app stores. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features, and may update these terms. We will tell you in the app about important changes before they apply; continuing to use Vura after that means you accept them. We try to keep Vura available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using Vura and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or if we stop offering Vura; where reasonable we will tell you first.
12. Disclaimer and limits of liability
Vura is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties that it is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data or profits, or injury or health outcomes from following information in the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Vura in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there or to rely on its mandatory consumer protections.
